Ore Twin: Differentiate yourself
as an Explorer
The OreTwin is a digital twin of historic and planned exploration work, resources, and study plans, overlaid on your geology, terrain and tenement areas.
What We Offer
Rapid Assessment & Benchmarking
We assess your existing exploration data, study outcomes, and capital raising plan, to develop a project plan that best showcases your historic and planned work.
Customized Digital Twin
Design
We modify our Oretwin template to create a bespoke Digital Twin that maximizes the impact of your exploration data and tells the story of your business.
Seamless Integration & Implementation
We work with your geo team to ingest, normalize and display your data, and we develop models and animations to bring your data to life.
Typical Features of an Ore Digital Twin
Browser based 3D Visualization
The OreTwin is available through web browsers, requires no downloads, has pre-configured “playlists” of work types and is fully searchable. Users can playback historic work and playforward animations of future work, development and operations.
Animated study results
Study results, such as the location and geometry of pits and the type of process plant, and the scheduling of ore to process plant and waste to dump, are animated using 3D models and play forward and playback tools.
Public Portal
A stripped down public facing portal is created for members of the public, local communities, and prospective investors who are “window shopping”. The portal also supports market announcements, as preconfigured URLs can be created to link statements or marketing to specific areas of your site or animations of future work.
Drill down from 3D to supporting Data
OreTwin users can view the underlying data that supports each visualization, such as clicking on a downhole survey, viewing the assay highlights, and then drilling through to the original assay certificate from the lab, which is contained in the data room.
Augmented reality
A mobile application enables site based workers and visitors to use their mobile device to “see” drill holes, pit shells, mineralized zones, blockmodels, or any other 3D model contained in the Oretwin, by holding their camera up and panning around the site.
Create an OreGPT
The OreTwin can be paired with OreGPT, an LLM + RAG that uses the vectorized corpus of historic data to enable natural language questioning and search of historic data.
The Geminum OreTwin is a digital twin of historic and planned exploration work, resources, and study plans, overlaid on your geology, terrain and tenement areas.
At what stage of development is an OreTwin valuable?
The OreTwin is built from the customers existing data sets, and additional elements are created to suit the customers needs.
The scope of the OreTwin matches the data the customer already has:
An early-stage explorer has Google Earth Pro, dozens of recent drill holes, hundreds of historic holes, thousands of samples and assays, no Resources, and a strong narrative around geology and formational aspects.
A more advanced explorer has LIDAR on some areas of site, a complete early scoping study, 1 or 2 early-stage Resources, hundreds of drill holes and thousands of samples, and a high-level economic model.
A late-stage explorer has extensive exploration and resource work, multiple studies, some metallurgy & geotech, and various optimizations of pit shells/developments, preliminary plant and infrastructure layouts and economic models, supported by thousands of drill holes and many 10s of thousands of assays and testwork.
We hero the amount of historic work done and the prospectivity of the area, and show that future work will leverage the existing geology and data.
We highlight where the future operation will be, how the existing resources are supported by extensive real data, and show how future work will upgrade resources and exploit nearby prospects.
We tell the complete story of geochem to operating mine, and provide multiple pre-set narratives of each aspect of importance, connecting critical visual data to supporting reports.
The fidelity of the OreTwin reflects the historic data available and the level of planning that can be committed to. The intent is to grow the twin as exploration and studies are done, providing a persistent view of all the work done and planned, including historic work by others.

FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions
What is an Ore Digital Twin? An Ore Digital Twin is a browser-based 3D platform that consolidates exploration data, geological models, drill hole records, and development plans into a single interactive view. It lets geo teams, investors, and stakeholders visualize subsurface data, play back historic work, and animate future operations - without downloading any specialist software.
Do I need to install software to use the Ore Twin? No. The Ore Twin runs entirely in a web browser. There are no downloads, plugins, or desktop installations required. Your team and stakeholders can access it from any device with a browser and an internet connection. Most Ore Twins also include a mobile application.
How does the Ore Twin help with capital raising and investor presentations? The Ore Twin includes a public-facing portal mode that lets you share compelling 3D visualizations and simulations of your exploration progress, resource models, and development plans with investors. It turns complex geological data into an intuitive story that differentiates your project and builds confidence during capital raising.
What is OreGPT and how does it work? OreGPT is Geminum's AI-powered natural language search feature built into the Ore Twin. It uses large language models and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) to let users ask questions about historical exploration data in plain English - instead of manually searching through databases and reports.
What types of mining data can the Ore Twin integrate? The Ore Twin ingests and normalizes exploration datasets including drill hole data, lab assay certificates, resource models, pit geometry, ore scheduling data, terrain and tenement information, and process plans. It supports data at all maturity levels, from early-stage explorers to advanced operations with extensive resource studies.
